Whether you have an iPhone5 or an iPhone4 iOS7 makes the iPhone feel reborn.
iOS7 is now available and as you all have learned, it’s different & polished. Alot of people commented and judged it from the first look yet after using it am sure they were impressed. Yes, few things needs tweaking but Apple are good in that and all will happen without us noticing … Read more
Today I passed by an article which stated that:
Gartner is predicting that by 2015, 25% of organizations will have a Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and further estimated that 20% of existing chief information officers (CIOs) have already taken on some of the responsibilities of the CDO.
The world is going digital. If you still didn’t realize this maybe it’s time for you to crawl out from under that rock. Nowadays, how well information is used may determine the success of a service or product.
Take a look around today at people in line at a grocery store or waiting for their bags at the airport .. What do you see?! Most of them are staring down into a glowing mobile device, passing time by checking on friends, catching up on texts or e-mail or playing a game. Thanks to technology, we can see a change in how people today kill time.
“With endless applications, high-speed wireless Internet access, and free messaging services, smart phones have revolutionized the way we communicate”
Nowadays, we (Smartphones users) are closely “attached” to our mobile devices. Without our phone we feel “lost,” “tense,” or “not updated.” where on the other hand regular phone users feel free or quiet without their phones.
Apple released iOS 6 to the public today making the download available to users of recent iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch models and it’s available in for UAE users now. iOS 6 adds over 200 new features, like Apple’s own Maps app, Facebook integration, Siri improvements and more.
Be patient as the rush to download the update usually slows the update process to a crawl.
For what I’ve seen so far iOS 6 has given the user more features to make the things we do every day even better. Moreover, here are few features I loved …
Even though we love social media, there’s still something to complain about, it has become human nature to complain about anything whatsoever .. Even though social media is the “flavor du jour”, David Spark was able to find plenty of people willing to tell him what really annoys them about social networking.
As a social & new media enthusiast it is my business to know what the trend is with social media and I try to keep up. However, I must admit that at some stage I started to get overwhelmed and started to feel that I was stretching myself too thin. My advice for anyone who might be struggling with making a decision on whether to sign up in a new social network not, is that it’s your call and you should make a decision based on your goals.
Have you seen the #ff on your timeline today? #ff stands for “Follow Friday” and is a signal of your support and recommendation of fellow Twitter users to your friends. It encourages users to refer their followers to interesting ‘Tweeters’ the first user is interested in or admires or thinks is particularly knowledgeable on a topic. This started in 2009 when one man was considering the issue of who to follow – how to find good people on twitter.
Here we go again .. Facebook New Timeline have made its way from profiles to fan pages now!
An annoying change with the new Facebook timeline is that you can no longer have a landing page or welcome tab for your business page, a favored feature for many savvy brands. I believe that this option was one of the primary ways to control the first impression a user encountered. Not having this option will drastically change user impressions when they first visit the page. Maybe brands should be translating their key messages into visual images before it gets forced on us!
